ABOUT THE JOB I What will you do?
The Legal Officer is part of the Legal team within the CEO department and supports the team with the following main activities:
‒ Providing internal legal opinions and advice
‒ Monitoring of changes to consumer law and adaptations to terms and conditions of the bank’s products
‒ Providing legal support to and liaising with various departments in the bank
‒ Conducting legal research in foreign jurisdictions
‒ Drafting and reviewing agreements and other legal documents
‒ Steering the implementation of new/changed legal requirements
‒ Coordination of legal requests with external counsels and advisors
‒ Communication to authorities and to the regulator in coordination with our Compliance department
‒ Ensuring an appropriate Corporate Governance framework
ABOUT YOU I What’s your background?
‒ Master’s degree in law
‒ Good knowledge of European regulations
‒ Flexible adaptation to different jurisdictions
‒ Good command of MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
‒ Relevant professional experience in banking and/or financial sector
‒ Ideally knowledge of the credit card industry
